Rented a car from here a while back. We did the order online and all we had to do was go in and sign the papers for the rental. The initial car we wanted wasn't available but the staff gave me a discount on a upgrade. We traded up for a jeep from a compact. Couldn't be happier with the quality of both service and quality of the rental vehicles. They were all super clean and in good running condition. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of traveling. Look for there weekend specials...such great deals.
I reserved a luxury vehicle two months before my trip. The night before I was supposed to leave Enterprise called me and told me that they will not have any luxury cars available for me but I can pick any car in their lot to rent. I drove through the lot that night and saw two small vehicles and a mini van. The next day (the day I was supposed to leave) a person from Enterprise called me and told me that there were no cars available and that the only vehicles available to rent were pickup trucks. She told me that I would have to go to Rockford to get a car. I told them to forget it and that I would take my own car on the trip. Do not count on them to have a vehicle for you when it you reserve one.
I would rent from here again.
Had I been reviewing on the first rental of this yr, it would be One Star, in line with what I've been reading. I was greeted with a Very curt and dismissive attitude. My rental had an obnoxious odor, that made me physically ill. If time had allowed, I'd have returned and switched it. I later had opportunity for a second rental period and my service was much improved. Also, they compensated me with an upgrade and apologized profusely for previous problems.
Horrible service. Horrible pay options. Brought vehicle back 24 hours early and still got charged for extra day. Very disrespectful staff. Never again!
We had a wonderful experience at the Freeport Enterprise during the first two weeks of August 2017. In particular, I want to commend Dannielle M who went the extra mile to provide excellent service. She was able to clear up a horrible experience that we had with a related company, Alamo, at O'Hare Airport a few days previously. Alamo had given us a damaged, vehicle with an expired registration. Dannielle provided a better class of vehicle at no extra charge for our trouble and dealt with Alamo HQ on our behalf. I would be giving her service 10 stars if I could!
